High School Seniors ~ Be True to Your School! After your senior session I will donate $25 to your school. If you are involved in a special group at your school I’m more than happy to specify that it goes to your organization. Together we can help the band get new uniforms, the volleyball team get new nets and the underwater basket weaving club new, um, water?
For all other sessions you get a choice! Have a favorite charity? Just let me know and $25 goes to the organization of your choice! Or you can donate to MY favorite charity – The March of Dimes.
Why is the March of Dimes special to me? Without the March of Dimes my daily life would be drastically different. My children were born at 31 weeks of gestation. At over 2 months earlier than they were supposed to arrive they would not have survived without a lengthy stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The 5 & 7 weeks we spent in the NICU were some of the hardest of my entire life.
I am eternally grateful to the wonderful Doctors, nurses and staff that cared for our children during that time. The March of Dimes works is working to end prematurity. Without all of the wonderful medical advances that have been made because of their support I know in my heart that my children would not be the wonderful HEALTHY people I get to hug and love every day. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those we love!
