Maureen: Class of 2014 Senior Model {Sioux Falls, SD Senior Portraits}

We had a great time with Maureen on her Senior Model Session. It was a beautiful afternoon in Downtown Sioux Falls with a stunning young lady. One of the best things about my senior model program is the fact that I really get to know these girls. By the time we get to their actual senior portrait session they are so comfortable around the camera and just ready to have an amazing session.

Enjoy a few of my favorites from Maureen’s Model Session and stay tuned for more from Maureen when we do her full senior portrait session in June!

Tessa Turns One! {Sioux Falls, SD Child Portraits}

It’s so hard for me to believe that this sweet little lady is a year old today! One of my favorite parts about being a photographer is capturing such wonderful milestones in the lives of those I love.

My sweet niece, Tessa, has stolen my heart somehow has my hubby wrapped around her little finger too. She says he reminds her of how sweet our baby girl was and how little our tiny peanut was. Either way she’s just too cute for words. Maybe the fact that they almost share a birthday means a bit to him too.

And her big sister, Naomi, she’s a never ending moment of entertainment! Happy Friday and join me in wishing Tessa a Happy First Birthday!

Julie, these pictures are SO beautiful!

Happy Birthday Hope {Sioux Falls, SD Senior Portraits}

A few weeks ago I convinced a beautiful young lady to come tromp around the snow during a crazy April blizzard. If she was cold she never complained but then I’ve never heard her complain about anything.

I’ve known Hope since she was about the same age as my kids and since moving back to South Dakota my whole family has felt so blessed to have her as a special part of our lives.

We often say that people are beautiful from the inside out but that’s especially true for Hope. She has an awesome sense of her own fun style and is wise beyond her years at being comfortable in her own skin.

Every time I leave the company of this beautiful lady I’m smiling, praying and ‘hoping’ that my daughter grows up to be as lovely as Hope.

Happy Sweet 16th Birthday Hope. You are loved.
